Finding things to do whether you live in a city or visiting can sometimes be challenging especially if your not alone or have a family who all have different likes and dislikes. One thing that almost everyone loves is a good trip to a museum.

Atlanta has some of the best museums in the country including the High Museums of Art which houses art pieces from the Southeasts best creators. For those who enjoy studying history there is the Fernbank Museum of Natural History which is the home to a world of artifacts, dinosaurs, shells, wildlife,interactive science exhibits, and more.

It also has exhibits such as Walk Through Time in Georgia which locals love to experience over time. It reminds them of how much times have changed but they will always cherish the memories that growing up in Atlanta has given them.

The Jimmy Carter Museum and Library allows those who grew up in the days that Carter was president to view photographs and excellent historical memorabilia of him and his time in the white house.

The museum has several exhibits that showcase significant events that occurred during his presidency, his life before and after becoming president, and things that happened throughout his political career.

This particular museum receives tourists all year long. The Children's Museum of Atlanta is a big hit with not only kids but adults as well. Parents love taking their children here to spend a day of hands on learning allowing their minds to become imaginative and inspire.

Here children can make their dreams become reality by dressing up as an airline pilot, a doctor, or even a farmer.
